We chose this cruise because of the destinations and the price was reasonable. We cannot express in enough terms how disappointed we were with this ship. We purchased an Aurea pkg. which included: priority boarding (that did not happen, we were kept waiting on the docks in the sun for nearly 25 mins. Pkg. also included a 'solarium area' . This area was no different to any other area except that it was on a different deck and had no shade what so ever, uninviting we never used it. There is a policy that towels are not to be left for over 30 mins. on deck chairs, what a joke. Staff were afraid to say anything because of reprisal from the passengers. Pkg. also included sauna, steam room and gym. The sauna and steam rooms were often very cool or inoperable. Juices offered in the buffet area were like cordial, the food often cold and seating hard to find as people would sit around talking for ages after they had eaten. The other option was the dining room where it was difficult to get any ones attention to get served, it was chaos. It was quite obvious that the staff were all new and did not know what to do. Staff were observed coughing and sneezing into their hands then carrying on working. No wonder that there were many people with the flu on board. The quality of food in the evening dining was cafeteria style. Never again. The dining room staff in the evening were excellent as was the cabin steward. All this has been reported to the travel agent who reported to MSC line with one reply having an excuse for everything.

Cabin steward was very good, furniture dated needed attention. Linen was good.
