This was an adjoining balcony cabin. My husband and I stayed in one room, and the kids in the other. We could've stayed all in one room, but wanted to have the 2 bathrooms. The stateroom is very nice, lots of storage, everything you need. It's nice to have the balcony too.

I found it very easy to get there, and leave. We used Uber both ways, and they were able to pick up right at the port pickup area. 

Miami

This was a cool experience! It's a long ride to get there, and they stop at a McDonald's. I wish they had specified that in the description, cause the excursion was from 4:15-9:45, so we were all stressed about when/what to eat. You kayak through a narrow canal to get to a lagoon. We got there a bit early, so had to wait till it got dark. After a few minutes, we had to head back, so wish we had a bit more time once it was dark. But, it was difficult to get back since it was dark, and you really can't see anything in the canal. We were following the kayak in front of us, then another kayak bumped into us, and we had to stop. Once we got going again, the kayaks in front of us were gone, so we had to fumble our way through. Once we hit the bay, we really didn't know which way to go, since there was no one around. It would be nice if a guide was stationed there to direct people. Overall, a cool experience!

We went to Sapphire Beach, which is actually at a resort. There were plenty of chairs, snorkel equipment, etc. The beach is pretty rocky, so it was hard to get in and out of the water. Only there for about 1.5 hours, so very short time. There was confusion heading back, as our bus was late, but no one knew where he was, so we were worried that we had missed our ride. Stopped at an overlook on the way back, so got some great pictures.

Enjoyed this experience. Short boat ride, then you could swim with the rays in an enclosed area. It was larger than I expected, and there were a ton of rays. The guides were very informative, and you could hold them, feed them, and just swim around with them. There was plenty of time to get all the pictures you like!

This was a highlight of the cruise. My daughter is obsessed with pigs, and absolutely loved this excursion! Short boat ride to Treasure Island, and then you can get in the water with them. They all have names and personalities. Plenty of apples to feed them, and they take pictures you can order. You are not allowed to take pictures yourself, though I'm not sure why. The guides were very informative and friendly. The pigs seemed well cared for, and could come and go as they pleased.

We had such a great time last year on the Getaway, we were expecting the same experience, but there were quite a few things that were lacking this time.The line for the tender was incredibly long, the boarding process took forever, the disembarking process also was really long, so I ended up not getting back to the ship until 5:15.
