This cruise was part of a much longer tour- 28 days in all. So, I didn't actually choose this. Now having been on it, I wouldn't do it, or anything like it again.

This was my forth cruise, the other three being on much smaller boats with much fewer people which is what I prefer. This trip confirmed it for me. To me the ship looks tired and is in desperate need of a makeover. The main atrium area is very nice but rooms and main restaurants are 'beige' and uninteresting. Some smaller eating places and bars are much nicer than the bigger restaurants, decor wise.

The food was pretty average. I didn't have a single stand out dish in the whole week. We ate in Sabatini's one night, at extra cost and I wouldn't recommend this. It is simply not worth the money. It should be outstanding if I am paying an extra premium on top. Often drinks ordered took ages to come, one night we waited 50 minutes for a glass of wine and were already half way through our meal. Having to eat off and drink out of plastic is a disgrace in the Horizon buffet. Just really awful and tacky.
