Sail Date: Apr 2019
Cabin: Concierge Class 2

We boarded the ship in Ft Lauderdale and it was quick and easy. Our Concierge Cabin mid-ship on Deck 8 was a reasonable size, clean and comfortable with plenty of storage for our clothes and luggage. Our cabin steward, as usual, provided excellent service. The Atlantic crossing was so smooth you really didn't know you were moving.

We enjoyed the cruise but feel some things are definitely slipping even in the twelve months since our previous cruise on the Constellation from Singapore to Rome.

Some of the main issues were firstly food, especially in the Main Dining Room at night. Choice has become more and more limited and the quality has definitely got worse. On a number of nights I found myself ordering the salmon as there was really nothing else that appealed to me. We went to Qsine one night and whilst it was a fun one-off thing to do you certainly wouldn't keep going back there for the food, it just wasn't that good. Another issue in relation to the MDR was that about 3-4 days into the cruise a few men started wearing shorts to dinner and one night one of them turned up in a singlet top and shorts and was allowed in to dinner. I complained about this (as did a number of other passengers) and didn't see it happen again.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

Cabin was clean, comfortable and a resaonable size, with plenty of room for storage. Because of it's position it was very quiet and we felt no movemnent at all.
