This cruise was a chance for our entire family to enjoy a cruise together. We booked this a few weeks after we got off the Carnival Glory in 2018. This was our 12 year old son's 1st cruise and our 19 year old daughter's 3rd cruise, but 1st one in 13 years. This was also a chance to do a full family vacation before our daughter goes off on her own.

Why the Carnival Miracle? -

We wanted a cruise that would allow us to go after our kids were out of school, but back before our daughter had to report to her Summer job. We happen to like Carnival and also had not sailed on a Spirit Class ship. We had done cruises on Fantasy class (Carnival Inspiration) and Destiny class (Carnival Destiny) ships, so this helped us get on a different class of ship.

Cabin 8D

We had cabins 7321 & 7325 on Verandah Deck 7 on the starboard side of the ship near the aft. These were category 8D. Spirit class ships do have a small cooling refrigerator that worked well on keeping our water cool. Both cabins were in good shape and well maintained. Flat screen TV and hair dryer in the room. Room has 1 110v and 1 220v outlet. Would be nice if they add an extra outlet during next drydock. We had maintenance open the panel between the two balconies and it made for a nice place for everyone to hang out. Our room steward James did a nice job of keeping our room in tip top shape. He made sure that we had our ice bucket filled twice a day and that made us happy.
