Norwegian Jade Cruise Review by renmcdonald
- Sail Date: June 2019
- Destination: Eastern Mediterranean
- Cabin Type: Mid-Ship Balcony
This cruise was taken on the week of our 20 year Wedding Anniversary. It did not disappoint. The ship was clean and the staff very friendly. The spa was amazing, if not a bit overpriced. But I really enjoyed both of my spa experiences.
Our favorite restaurant was Le Bistro, although Cagney's and La Cucina were great too. The main dining room was great and truthfully we could have eaten all of our meals there. The breakfast buffet was really good and we had lunch at O'Sheehan's a few times and enjoyed it. We loved the casual dining atmosphere on the ship.
Overall, this was a wonderful cruise on a very nice ship. We highly recommend Norwegian. We can't wait to do it again!

Walking the WallsDubrovnik was our favorite port on the cruise. It was breathtaking and the locals were very kind. The views were spectacular and we really enjoyed the Game of Thrones excursion. We would love to travel to Croatia and spend a few days exploring the county.View All 52 Walking the Walls Reviews
KoperThis port city was charming, but it was definitely our least favorite stop. We docked here on a Saturday and everything was closed. It was very quiet and sleepy. I am sure that if we had taken an excursion it would have been different. We were just not impressed.View All 90 Koper Cruise Port Reviews

MykonosWe were in Mykonos on the day of our 20th Anniversary. We enjoyed the windmills, beaches, and the authentic Greek cuisine. This island was nice, but we much preferred Santorini.View All 1,085 Mykonos Cruise Port Reviews

SantoriniSantorini was gorgeous! We would love to return and stay a few days. We took the cable car up the mountain from the port and walked form Fira town to the mid point of Imerovigli village (at the highest point of the caldera cliffs). The views were stunning. Next time we will make it over to Oia village, which I hear is breathtaking.View All 1,019 Santorini Cruise Port Reviews

VeniceVenice is beautiful and very rich in its history. It was a bit crazy in St. Mark's Square. I felt like we were at Disney World with all the people and chaos. Our favorite part of Venice was just walking through the canal streets and over the bridges to the quieter places. We enjoyed the Gondola ride too. We did stay one extra night in Venice at the Hilton Molino Stuckey. It was a very nice hotel.View All 1,472 Venice Cruise Port Reviews
