This cruise was chosen because the itinerary, particularly that of the first week, suited us just fine. Our first NCL cruise. Before I say more, though, I must emphasise that my wife and I take full responsibility for the fact that this LARGE ship didn’t, ultimately, suit our quiet ways. Nevertheless.........

Other reviews mention the noise. It WAS bad, particularly Deck 6. Ok, so good weather/warmer weather would have seen more people outside? Safely dispersed.. Our misfortune that so many congregated together inside, their conversation competing with so-called entertainment that singularly failed to deliver on many occasions. Some people seem too easily satisfied. The standard on offer was quite poor.

No complaints at all with the crew/support staff. Friendly, cheerful and helpful, they were the high spot for us, managing dire situations like the often overcrowded buffet in the Garden Restaurant with good humour and grace. Which is more than can be said for some of the passengers walking round and round endlessly searching for a vacant seat. It was THAT difficult. Zombies walking with plates, smiles absent.
