Sail Date: May 2019

Ports: We chose this cruise mainly for the ports... and they were beautiful. For Santorini, 5 ships were there, was really crowded, and long wait to come back down on the cable car. Otherwise, we had great weather and enjoyed the cruise.

Ship: Just remodeled in Marseilles France May 2019 so looked great. The decor has all been upgraded, all new cabins, and mostly new public spaces. The ship is small by today's norms but was a good size for getting around and also seeing folks you met along the way again.

Cuisine: Although the lead tag is "Finest Cuisine at Sea," for this cruise, it fell short... at least compared to cruise we took on their Marina December 2017. There is much to pick from as far as selection... maybe too much ? I had cold eggs in the Terrace Cafe, lukewarm coffee at high tea one afternoon, tough lobster in Tuscan steak, dry and tasteless salmon in the main dining room, etc. I realize perfection is not possible over 10 days and so many passengers, but it was overall much better on our Marina cruise. We indeed had some decent dishes over the 10 days, but not great. `1

Cabin Review

Concierge Level Veranda Stateroom

Cabin A2

Ship was refurbished in Marseilles France in May 2019, so room had just been redone. Lots of places to put things, hooks on the wall, very nice decor, but very tiny showers. Bed and sheets were great. Had great weather so made good use of the veranda with two comfortable chairs and a table.
