We have cruised with Celebrity on five previous occasions and have enjoyed every one, however this particular cruise experience was very dissapointing.

The Cruise itinerary and ports visited were good but the on board experience was very disappointing.

The biggest problem was food quality and choice. The ocean view cafe and the main restaurant was absolutely appalling. The constant sales push to dine in one of the specialty restaurants was way over the top and became extremely annoying. It seems the constant pushing of the specialty restaurants coincided with the drop in food quality in the free/included restaurants.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 1A

Cabin 1A

Cabin well maintained and very well cleaned and serviced by the stateroom attendant

Port Reviews

Ketchikan

We organised our own misty fjords cruise tour

Sitka

We organised our own tour in Sitka with Alaska shore tours, they were very good to deal with, well organised, very entertaining and knowledgeable guide and considerably cheaper than the same tour through Celebrity.

Skagway

The tour was very good, exactly as advertised but as with all of the ship organised tours much more expensive than organising it independently

Juneau

Very well organised, good guides well priced

Juneau

We organised our own tours in Juneau with Alaska shore tours, they were very good to deal with, well organised, very entertaining and knowledgeable guides and considerably cheaper than the same tour through Celebrity.

Victoria

One of the most beautiful gardens we have ever seen, a must do in Victoria

Victoria

Absolutely fantastic cruise, we saw 2 groups of Orcas feeding

Icy Strait

Icy Straight is a tourist trap built specially for the cruise lines don’t bother, we walked into the local town Hoona and saw a large group of bald eagles, as well as a baby bald eagle in a nest, well worth the walk
