It is true that huge ships like this tend to be full on almost every occasion and place, but the diversity of things to do make up, there are many places to go and there is always a quiet place to discover. Of course at breakfast and lunch is crowded, especially in the first days that the ship is sailing and it is very cold, we made the trip in February leaving NY. The outside areas are freezing and windy but it gets better on the second day as it goes towards the Caribbean and then the places outside start to get warmer, great for having breakfast and lunch. There are a lot of environments to stay in this 350-meter ship and there are plenty of activities, from the north star, a capsule that rises to 90 meters and with 360-degree views of the ship and the sea, to a parachute simulator and other so many attractions, it's worth researching on the Royal website to find out everything you have to do. For those looking for a quieter place, the Solarium, which is a registered trademark of Royal, is the place to stay for those who want tranquility like me, children under 18 are not allowed. It sits on the bow of the ship, is wrapped and covered by a glass roof and with lots of green and pools that harmonize with the environment not to mention the wonderful views around.

As I said earlier lunch is usually fuller but with a little patience you can get a table to sit in until it's fast. The buffet is well served with lots of variety and the food ok, nothing too much and is aimed at the American public for shure. It defines itself as a world-wide cuisine that varies day by day but is restricted to some gastronomy of the world as for example the Asiatic that was present every day. The dinner is already more elaborate, but I particularly have no patience with all the ritual of the night, 1st dish, 2nd dish, etc, so I ended up eating in the same place of lunch that at night was much calmer with lots of places to sit. When there was nothing very good there was always a burger to save the night.

Even If you do not drink a lot, it's worth seeing the Bionic bar where your drink is prepared by robots, from the choice of the drink to the mixture of ingredients it’s a great fun.
