Hello! I thought I'd write a brief review of our POA sailing this last week. This is our fourth cruise, with prior cruises being on Carnival and NCL in a Haven room. This is the first cruise we have taken as a family of 4, along with my parents. Kids are 5 and 7, and grandparents are 72.

We flew in and spent a few days prior to the cruise in Oahu. I highly recommend this. We could have easily spent a week in Oahu. We did Pearl Harbor, and spent a day on the North Shore. There we did a Shark Swim with Hawaiian Shark Encounters (fantastic, and not as scary as you may think, though take dramamine before you go) and we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center. That was OK - I thought it was a little overpriced for what you get, but the kids and the grandparents enjoyed it.

Day 1: Prior to boarding, we did a movie tour at Kualoa Ranch. It was AMAZING.

See above: Was great for our purposes, though if you have the means would upgrade to the larger family suite with older children/teens
