This was my first cruise on Norwegian. I was looking to sail the Greek Isles for some time and wanted to marry it with a side trip to Venice. This one came up in my search so I jumped at the chance and booked it. Six friends traveled together and we all had a wonderful time. The food in the dining rooms (Aqua, Versailles & O'Sheehan's) was great. I found the buffet lacking in variety. It was difficult to find a table on occasion, especially at peak times. The excursions were good but Kefalonia can use some tweaking. All of the Norwegian tour buses showed up at Melissani Lake at the same time and we waited in the hot sun for over an hour. The boat tour of the lake was cut from 20 minutes to 10 because of the large volume of tourists. Personally, I would skip Corfu and add more time to Dubrovnik. It was a pity that this port time was so short. So beautiful and so little time to experience it. The staff onboard were terrific - friendly, courteous and helpful.
The cabin was surprisingly roomy - especially for 2 women sharing. Storage space was more than plentiful. Our cabin steward (Paul) was exceptional. He was attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed.
Venice is incredible. Worth staying prior or post cruise for a few days to explore all it has to offer.
Wow. Perast and Kotor were amazing. Blown away by their beauty and serenity. Ample time in both locations to get quality photos and shopping.
While the Palace was interesting, the town experience was too short to enjoy. No time to enjoy lunch. I was not overly enamoured with Corfu. I would drop this port in favour of more time in Dubrovnik (which was cut short due to the stop in Kefalonia).
Santorini (Oia and Fira) are amazing. Lots of time to shop, walk around and make your way to the cable car to return to the ship. We dine at a rooftop restaurant to watch the sunset (sadly, the clouds moved in so we didn't get one).
Spent more time on the bus than anything else. The Acropolis is fantastic. Didn't really care for the shopping area as it was mainly tourist traps and restaurants. Did enjoy an amazing Greek salad.
Loved Rhodes. Visiting a traditional house and Bonis Ceramics were was fascinating. Also got time to see some beautiful beaches along the way.
The walking tour is the only way to go. Exploring Mykonos was both fun and beautiful. The hanging Bougainvillea was breathtaking and lots of opportunity to shop in real stores - not just tourist traps.
We spent moreti me on a bus and waiting in line to visit the Drogarati Cave and Melissani Lake. Norwegian was the only cruise ship in port but all of the tours seemed to offer Melissani Lake and they all showed up at the same time. We stood in the blazing sun for over an hour. The 20 minute boat ride was cut to 10 minutes due to the large volume of tourists. We did not get a chance to stop in the town and shop.
Loved Dubrovnik but the time spent was too short. We toured the Old Town early in the morning and shops were not open. We went for coffee and managed to shop for 10 minutes when the shops opened before getting back on the bus. The flour mill was very interesting.
