A year ago we'd never heard of Scenic and were comparing many cruise offerings for May of 2019. Fortunately my travel advisor suggested considering Scenic along with many other cruise companies I was comparing. Hands down, this cruise never disappointed and was superb! We had invited first-time river cruiser friends to join us (with some trepidation as we'd never been on a Scenic cruise). They were quite impressed as were we. Compared to our previous two river cruises, Scenic was an exceptional experience! Our stateroom was beautiful with spaciously creative designs. Personnel were friendly and professional. All excursions were well thought out and very enjoyable. Food was very good - not gourmet, but regionally representative, delicious and beautifully presented. Being an all-inclusive river cruise took most of the guest work out of this trip. The weather was spectacular and I truly cannot believe any Rhine River cruise could have delivered more than the sights and experiences we had. Next year we'd like to enjoy a Seine River/Normandy cruise and with what we now know Scenic will be our go-to company for river cruises from this time forward!
