It was my 50th birthday and I heard so many wonderful things about these huge Oasis class of ships! I researched obsessively about what room to choose and ultimately went with Room 12599, on the starboard side of the ship overlooking Central Park.

It was lovely! I have a fear of heights and don’t like balconies overlooking the water. But the balcony overlooking the park was cozy and just perfect.

Central Park itself is on Level 8. The rooms overlooking the park on Level 9 do *not* have balconies. Levels 10, 11, 12, and 13 have balconies overlooking the park. After reading other reviews, I didn’t want to be on Level 13 and risk hearing the pool noise overhead. Level 12 was perfect because you could hear live guitar music at night but it wasn’t too loud.
