We chose the cruise of the San Juan Islands because we were wanting pure relaxation, not non-stop activities. This cruise was definitely relaxing.

Embarkation and disembarkation were very smooth. The ship has plenty of room for the passengers to not feel crowded. Each floor has a small midship lounge to read, play puzzles, or gather with friends. The 3rd floor has a large lounge where everyone could gather for evening beverages and entertainment. The 4th floor lounge was my favorite. It's at the back of the ship and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Snacks and beverages are available here 24/7. The chairs are comfortable and warm cookies are delivered here twice daily.

The crew was always friendly and helpful. Meals were outstanding. Breakfast is a self-serve buffet of cereals, fruit, and yogurt (sometimes salmon as well). Then you sit down to order what you'd like- omelets, quiche, made to order eggs, pancakes (try the banana ones!), French toast, oatmeal... just about anything you can think of.

Cabin Review

Cabin AAC (Private Balcony)

Cabin 308 is nicely situated midship, near the elevator and stairs. Nextdoor is one of the small mid-ship lounges, which makes a great place to read and relax. Down the hall is the main gathering area for evening entertainment. You can hear the music but it doesn't go too late. I liked being this close to the large lounge. Early morning (pre-breakfast) juices and muffins are available here daily, as well as a 24/7 coffee/tea service. There is a small balcony, with two chairs and a table.
