Chose this cruise because it was later in the spring, have cruised to the Baltic five times already, and cruised the TA on the Emerald Princess its inaugeral year.

Our first surprise was a five category upgrade. Embarkation was a breeze with our luggage delivered before dinner. Pizza for lunch did not disapoint. DaVinci main dining room was great our waiter and assistant waiter were professional and and lots of fun. The entertainment was high class as always with a very funny Cruise Director.

Activities were so numerous, one could not attend them all.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin B2

Cabin was very comfortable. The new beds and bedding are an 100% improvement. The balcony was large enough for two chairs and foot stools for relaxing. The flatscreen tv was great but programing could be upgraded to the Royal class ships.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Embarkation was a breeze.

Toured Cadiz, a very quaint little town.

Malaga

Took a taxi tour for an hour and a half.

Barcelona

Have been there before, is a wonderful city to visit.

Gibraltar

Took a local tour and enjoyed it.

Marseille

Large shopping mall and waterfront with many cafe’s.

Genoa

Took the Hop on Hop off. Not impressed.

Florence (Livorno)

Took a private excursion I ordered prior to the cruise. Went to Florence for a guided tour of Florence then to Piiza to see the tower. A great port.

Madeira (Funchal)

I had a cold and did not go ashore. Have been here before and is a good port.
