Visiting Cuba on a cruise is the perfect way to meet the Cuban travel requirements. I was a little disappointed the cruise showed two days in Havana, but in reality left the port at 5am on the second day, so really, it was just one day. I did like stopping in Cozumel, too.

I always enjoy the food on RCL and this cruise did not disappoint. I eat at the buffet every day and no matter the time of day, there was always something available, it looked and tasted fresh with a nice variety.

Taking a shore excursion in Cuba is mandatory and I enjoyed a general overview, but it was like 5-6 hours long with some interesting and some very boring information, droning on and on and on. But still seeing the sites and the old 1950s cars on all streets was great.

Cabin 1V

I've travelled on 20+ cruises and generally RCL cruise cabins are consistently pleasant; this was not the case with this room. Probably the worst cruise cabin ever for the following reasons. 1. This room is extra small containing just a bed (for 2) and the standard built in desk. There was so chair, no little sofa, and not even a bedside table. Literally nothing else.

2. Other than the desk drawers there were NO shelves for clothes. There was only room to hand things in the closet or use the desk drawers. Very Odd; never experienced this.

3. Even on the warmest setting, the AC was too cold. No way to adjust to a comfortable temperature.

4. No small fridge which usually comes standard with rooms.

It's like this room was a broom closet they converted to a room.
