We chose this cruise because many of our cruising friends wanting to be on her first "return" sailing out of Port Canaveral after being gone for over 10 years. We also decided to have a first "Back to Back" experience, and so, also sailed on the May 10th sailing.

Pre Cruise Stay

We stayed, as usual, at Radisson Resort at the Port. For this first time, we elected to take their shuttle to the port; not sure why we never did this before, as, it was efficiently run and not overly crowded. We took the 9:30 shuttle, and were at the port and going through security well before 10.

Cabin J3

I think it was J3; not sure of the difference. The stateroom was large, with a huge aft facing balcony. Due to the location of the staterooms on the aft (their own corridor), it is quite quiet back there. We did hear some noise from The Windjammer above, but not much.

It was a connecting stateroom, but we never heard anything from that room. We could hear the TV coming from the room on the other side; and could hear people on their balconies when we were on ours (both next to us and below us). We like the aft, and love aft views; it's a bit hard to actually see the water when you are sitting down due to the substructure.

Our stateroom attendant was great.

Perfect Day at CocoCay

Really enjoyed the pool and the swim up bar! Very nicely done; clean, bright, fresh.
