We've sailed with Princess three times before and were always impressed with their ships, cuisine, entertainment, and itinearies. This was our first time on the Star Princess and we found ourselves feeling less impressed. The food selection was limited and quite bland. We enjoyed two out of seven dinners (lobster and new york steak night) while the other meals left us feeling unexcited and disappointed. The Horizon Buffet was the same. Great salad bar and fresh fruit selections. The hot foods were mediocre. Desserts were ok.

Entertainment was also a surprise disappointment. The comedian wasn't that good, however, the singer and magicians were pretty good. Didn't attend the singing and dancing shows since we weren't overly impressed with the others.

Wait staff, cabin steward, activity directors were great. Truly enjoyed the game shows and trivia. Read more
