We enjoy transatlantic cruises and this one had a nice itinerary with British and Irish ports. The ship is in very good condition, and our balcony cabin was very nice and spacious. The food in the main dining room was good, but not great; the buffet lunch was good, but many of the selections were repetitious. Our biggest complaints were the uninspired musical performances in the various lounges (with the exception of the jazz combo) and the poor “enrichment” speakers—not too exciting to hear an hour lecture about whales! Also, the lounges were overcrowded—probably because of the lack of interesting activity on the ship. And can we please stop with the loud exercise sessions in the centrum section—they belong in the gym or out on deck. Don’t know if Celebrity is cutting back, but this was as dull a transatlantic cruise as we have ever taken. The Captain was similarly dull, and he and his officers were invisible throughout the cruise.
