Overall, we (my husband and I and my daughter and her boyfriend) had a great time. This was a 6 night cruise beginning in Fort Lauderdale with stops at Half Moon Cay, Amber Cove and Grand Turk. Our last cruise was on the Disney Dream in 2011.

The Ship/Activities:

The CD, MarQ, was very entertaining. The ship was clean and we saw staff cleaning the common areas throughout the week. Our cabin was perfect (other than some really loud neighbors who liked to congregate in the hall between 2-4 a.m.). Very comfy bed, hot shower, air conditioning worked well. We had a balcony and my daughter had an inside cabin.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8C

Cabin was great. Air conditioning worked well. Shower was hot. We loved having a balcony. Our room steward, Gilbert, was always available if we needed something. The only noise we heard really was our loud neighbors - they were a bunch of college aged boys who either hung out in the hallway in the middle of night talking loudly or played music loudly in their cabin.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Private excursion with Iguana Mama to the Damajagua Waterfalls. Did 12 waterfalls. The hike will be tough if you're out of shape like I am but my husband, daughter and boyfriend had no trouble at all. Had a blast jumping and sliding once we got to the top.

Half Moon Cay

Beautiful beach and water!

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Embarkation was quick. No issues. Debarkation did take some time.
