We took this cruise to celebrate our anniversary and this was the only ship doing the eastern caribbean itinerary at this time. We’ve been on the Caribbean Princess 4 times previously were curious to see the changes after the wet dock. We felt that this experience was more of a 3.5 - 4 rating.
What we liked/loved:
Service everywhere was very good, and the staff seemed happy and friendly. We were approached immediately in the buffet sometimes by multiple people to ask if we wanted drinks. Club Class waitstaff was attentive and excellent, but we only ate there 3 nights because some night the menu options didn’t appeal to us.
Cabin is roomy and the balcony is huge with 2 loungers and a table with 4 chairs. There are 2 tv’s, one facing the bed and another in the living area which also has a couch, chair and wet bar. Walk-in closet is very cramped but there is plenty of drawer space in the room. Desk area very nice and has a wall mounted hair dryer. Only one sink in bathroom and no shelving. Shower was small and water was never more than luke warm. Nice looking jacuzzi tub, but didn’t use it. Lots of vibration which caused weird rattling noises at night when trying to sleep. Finally shoved some tissues into the corner of the ceiling over the bed which seemed to help with the rattling noises. Would book again just for the balcony.
