This, overall was a very good experience. The first 3 days were a bit off for the crew and the passengers due to the previous cruise's Noro-Virus issues. We spent the first 3 days of the cruise with the public restroom doors standing open, the food service staff having to serve you at the buffets, no condiments on the tables, the upscale restaurants using paper menus and napkins, etc. Truthfully, we were very appreciative of the efforts to sanitize the ship. Our only complaint was a lack of communication regarding the procedures that were being implemented. After day 3, all of these things vanished and the cruise returned to normal operations giving a sigh of relief to the crew and the passengers. The crew was exceptional. Given the life of a crew member on these ships, it is really. amazing that they can exhibit the positive attitude that they showed us on this cruise. Our cabin steward was a young lady from Asia who was absolutely charming. We did not encounter on staff member that was not friendly and helpful. As with most cruises, the buffet food was just marginal and the variety rarely changes. It wasn't bad, it was just cafeteria food. The specialty restaurants were excellent. The food was good and the service was outstanding. Cagney's steakhouse service and food was particularly great. Make sure to book at least one visit to Cagney's on your cruise. The entertainment wasn't bad. My wife enjoyed all of the shows. Most all were some form of music/musical. The guest entertainers were very good, as well. The ship is now 12 years old and it lacks some of the entertainment options of the newer, larger ships. That said, it's still a very nice ship and well maintained. This is our third cruise with NCL and we will have no problems taking a fourth one.

  • Mount Floyen
Our tour guide was BRAND NEW. She didn't know anything about the city, it's history, or it's day to day life. It wasn't her fault, she should have been given more training before being placed in her position. The tram ride was beautiful and the shops at the pier were a sight to see.

Beautiful city to tour. The boat tour guide was spot on with his information. And of course, the chocolates were wonderful.

  • Guinness Storehouse
Very crowded!! Guinness is a museum tour, not a brewery tour. It's a very nice effort on their part. The Skybar is packed and it's almost impossible to move through it. It's a been there, done that moment for us.

A great tour. You'll wish that you had more time to visit the museums and memorials. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the events at Normandy. This is definitely a tour to take.

  • Tower of London
If you enjoy spending over 5 hours sitting in London traffic, take this tour. Otherwise- stay away! We were scheduled for 2.5 hours at the Tower, we got an hour and fifteen minutes. It's no fault of the cruise line or the tour operator. There's just too much traffic in London.
