Cabin: Balcony

We just got back for an amazing cruise to Alaska on the Royal Princess. We were on Marina Deck (15) in a balcony cabin. We loved out location, it was right near the elevator and there was no excessive noise. It was great to just walk up one flight of stairs and we could grab a cup of coffee, a glass of ice tea, or even a little dessert and zip right outside. If you are a smoker, there is a designated smoking section on deck 17 right out the door of the buffet on the aft side. Going out the front side was the ice cream station, pizza, hamburgers, pool, hot tubs, lots of chairs, and fabulous views! We ate mostly at the buffet, which had a lovely variety and theme every night. Two night in the main dining room (we did anytime dining) and the food was very good. One dinner at the Crown Grill, and get ready for a loooong meal. Ours lasted 3 hours!!! Way too long for us!! Our food was good, nothing to exactly rave about. All in all, the ship is easy to maneuver, beautiful interior, friendly staff, and lots of fun!

Cabin Review

Cabin BA

Our balcony cabin was just the right size for the 2 of us. Both of us could even fit in the bathroom together. Also the shower had very good water pressure! We loved the balcony and truly enjoyed sitting our there watching the beautiful Alaskan scenery go by! The bed was extremely comfortable and we had no trouble falling asleep every night
