We did the Western Mediterranean cruise out of Barcelona in May 2019 on the Oasis. The cruise itself was OK. We did have a really good time but there are a few things we would def. change. Boarding was easy. Rooms were ready at 1pm. Food in windjammer was good. Sorrentos pizza also great for late night. The hot dog stand was meh. The coffee was awful. There is no creamer - only milk on this sailing. We did not do any specialty dining restaurants. Our server was great. We saw all the shows. Some nights there were jammed packed with various shows and other nights we struggled with finding things to do. We loved the ice skating show, come fly with me and the comedian.

PALMA DE MALLORCA - We made a huge mistake by not taking the shuttle. The taxi lines were horrendous and we tried to walk to town and then catch a cab which was also a nightmare. We eventually got cabs to the Bellver Castle and the Cathedral but wasn't worth the hassle. do yourself the favor and pay the 10e for the shuttle.

MARSEILLES - Took the shuttle to town 20e and then rented the stand up scooters to go all around town. It was a blast. We then took the petite train to the Notre Dame Church. It was fantastic.

Cabin Review

Boardwalk View Balcony

Cabin 1I

Boardwalk Balcony room 10325 is the third one from aft. It had a pretty good ocean view but we hated it. If you are use to an ocean balcony you will be disappointed. With only one sea day we thought we could save the money and try out the boardwalk room but it was not for us. It is a LONG walk down the hallway to running back to the room was a pain. You can watch the shows from balcony but that def. got old. We missed seeing the ports as we arrived each day. We also missed being able to enjoy a book for take an afternoon nap/downtime on the balcony after excursions but before dinner. It was also a bit cool outside (60s) and we could only get good ocean view from a crowded and chilly pool deck. Lesson learned. Might not be a bad option for families with young kids but for two adults (early 30s) it was not for us.
