This was my first cruise and I came away totally hooked! I am an avid traveler and accustomed to staying in some pretty nice venues. I have to say that my experience on this cruise was amazing! It started with the seamless and quick boarding experience and continued until we disembarked. I was completely impressed with how the whole process worked. Getting 4500 people off and on is not an easy feat, but Royal Caribbean seems to have perfected the system. We had a balcony cabin which was roomy and I slept great with the sound of the ocean the only noise that we were able to hear at night. My experience with all staff members was spot on! There was always someone there to help you with a smile and great attitude. Coming from the food industry - my only real disappointment was in some of the food. That is not to say that we did not enjoy our meals - just nothing 'wowed" us. Even though there were 4500 others on the ship, it certainly did not feel that way. We chose to hang out in the adults only Solarium. While there were kids on this trip - I loved all the activities that were offered to them - we just chose to not hang out poolside with them. We did have a blast on the bumper cars with people young and old - so fun! This being my first cruise, I have nothing to compare it to. However, I did come into it with an open mind and walked away already reseaching my next one!
