I've been on 2 cruises previously & my other half has never been on a cruise. I was a bit nervous going in as other reviews remarked on "booze cruise" and problems, etc. and I wanted this to be great for him. It was!

We had a great time! Easy on the boat and about a 2hr wait for our cabin (we had carry-on bags) so we had lunch and waited a bit, signed up for a small cabana for the Bahamas bit, walked around, etc. Room was newly remodelled (the ship got out of dry dock in early March this year?). Spacious for 2 of us - and we had a balcony mid-ship. The balcony was great to sit on - 2 chairs and a tiny drink table. Plenty of closet space and the shower was big enough for each of us and he's 6ft tall. Housekeeping was always friendly.

Plenty of handwash stations and sanitizing stations. Buffet for lunch and breakfast though we could've had sit-down (we did have sit-down breakfast the last day). Dinner in both main dining rooms was nice and attentive. We ate 1 night in Cagney's and charged it to our room (the AC was ridiculously cold and no help despite repeated complaints it was too cold in there) and for it being late when we ate, there were still lots of large parties coming in and people's dress was varied (shorts and flip flops to suits). Another night we didn't eat dinner on the ship and ate in Havana. Did a shore excursion by NCL to comply with Cuba visa requirements and then in the evening, explored a bit on our own in Havana and had dinner where the tour guide recommended. There is no AC in most places in Havana, no internet, and most places are cash-only.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Plenty of space for 2 people - probably more space if they took out the tiny sofa and put 2 chairs? Shower fits a tall 6ft man. Lights on the bed sit a bit low and we hit our head a few times but there are USB plugs in the room

Port Reviews

Great Stirrup Cay

Horrid weather (can't control) in the morning so we hid out at a bar till it cleared, then found our little clam-shell cabana and spent the day there away from the crowds. I think many people stayed on the ship due to weather. We had a nice lunch at a spot near us away from the crowds too. Shuttle back and forth to ship was easy. Plenty of water/drinks available and it was nice and peaceful.
