We chose the cruise based on the itinerary, timing and the ship. Pleased with all 3.
Dining in the Luminae was exquisite in terms of the food and wine pairings and the service. We did not dine in the main dining room
On the two occasions we visited the Ocean View the food and service was excellent and friendly. We only went during port days so crowds were not an issue.
This is an accessible cabin as such the overall space and configuration were quite good. The drawbacks were 1) no curtain to separate the sleeping area from the sitting area 2) no make up room sign, only a DND available 3) rumbling noises from the Ocean View cafe. We knew this was a factor but it exceeded expectations. We would still request this room again but some might find the noise too troubling. 4) missed having maps and port info delivered to the room but the new electronic app is supposed to resolve this 5) a wonderful shower. However, because the floor is flat, we flooded the entire bathroom on first use. This was easily corrected by the room steward with a towel dam as shown in the accompanying photos. If you book this room, make certain this feature is in place on the first day.
Always pleasant and on this day, no rain.
On this trip the embarkation process was the worst we have experienced of any Celebrity embarkations from Canada Place. No reflection on the beautiful city of Vancouver which is always a pleasure to visit.
Historic and pleasant just for a walk about
Fortunately not crowded on this day and the sun was out. Lunch in the Jewel Garden was excellent as always.
Great halibut and chips and a quiet walk in the woods. Bus ride to town is pleasant.
Great fish and chips and a chance to stretch.
Pleasant as always for a walk.
