Loved the itinerary for this cruse and a chance to escape the Florida heat. Saw a lot of mixed reviews for this ship so we were a little concerned. First trip with Norwegian and overall we were very happy with our experience and will try them again for sure.

The ship was great. It has been renovated and they did a nice job. It is an older ship but overall very well maintained. If you look real hard, you will see her age but our room and the public rooms we visited were well done and not worn looking. We received a free upgrade to a mini suite with balcony on deck 11. Made sure we weren't under the buffet due to a lot of noise complaints we saw in previous reviews. Ended up in 11098 and loved the room and balcony. Comfy bed, nice furnishings and overall very nice. We had a beverage and specialty dining package included in our rate and really enjoyed both. Not sure I would do the beverage package again as price versus how much we drink made me think we would have done better to buy our drinks but the specialty dining was great. Really enjoyed Cagney's and La Cucina. Moderno was good, not great. Wish we had done Los Lobos instead but enjoyed it regardless.

Overall, food was very good. Ate in the MDR twice for dinner and both meals were excellent. Breakfast is a bit of a disappointment and the buffet is hit or miss. O'Sheehans was decent food (not great) but the service was very uneven. At times we were ignored.
