As a 6 -8 cruise a year veteran, I understand that folks get jaded over time and forget to appreciate the little things that make a cruise awesome. Reading reviews that imply that someone had an awful cruise because the bread wasn't warm, or they used hot stones in their massage when they didn't prefer them, makes me thankful that I'm not in the "what can I find wrong" mode quite yet. I loved the Magic. The crew, customer service, cruise director, were excellent. As is always the case, approaching them with a big smile and a spirit of appreciation is always essential. The Thalosotherapy spa is amazing. Not only were we in there at least 3 times a day, but we immediately booked another spa room on the Magic when we got off (leaving next week). The Italian restaurant is awesome and we ate there three times. The food and service in the MDR were above average and there was no wait for anytime dining. Over 100 nights on Carnival, and a few dozen on other cruise lines, and I've yet to have a bad day cruising. Guess we're just lucky. I'm not sure that you're allowed to post a review without any complaints on this board, but hopefully it won't get banned.
