Embarkation: Aside from the traffic entering the terminal area, embarkation was smooth. We went right up the escalators and met with an agent to complete our check in. The Internet inside wasn't at full strength so we could not use Set Sail Pass on the Royal App. Luckily, I had printed them. After check-in we went through security in 10 minutes and went up another set of escalators and boarded the ship.
The Ship: The ship is absolutely amazing! My group and I did everything the ship had to offer; water slides, Abyss slides, Zip Line, Flowrider, Bionic Bar, theater shows, aqua show, ice shows, laser tag, trivia, bionic bar, Playmakers Sports Bar, and much more! We enjoyed everything we did, every night. We had 7 enjoyable nights aboard the Symphony of the Seas. Not once did we feel crowded with all the passengers. The engineers and architects that designed the ship designed it in a way that the people are spaced out all the time.
Food: We ate breakfast in the Solarium Bistro and main dining only throughout the cruise. Neither were crowded at the times we went. The omelettes in the Bistro were top-notch. We ate in the Main Dining Room every night for dinner and had great food and great service every night! For lunch, we ate at El Loco Mexican bar almost every day. They had the best Mexican food!
This cabin is right above the Gym/Spa. The gym closes at 1AM each night which we didn't think would be a problem, but for some reason they kept the music blaring each night and was thumping in our room. We complained a few times and each time they took care of it but the ship staff did not see to take care of the issue long term. We were offered a 20% Future Cruise Credit for our troubles.
