We chose Princess because we wanted to do an Alaska cruise + spend some time in Denali.

The cruise was first rate. Food, entertainment and staff were excellent. We ate in the main dining room late seating. The food and choices were excellent as was the staff and adjoining table mates. The comedy show was great. I think the comedian was AJ Jamal. The other shows were very good too.

We had good weather for early in the season. Didn’t really care for the ports. But it’s Alaska so choices are limited. We arrived in Vancouver a couple of days early and really enjoyed that lovely city! That’s where we did a whale watching tour on our own and saw whales. Glad we did as we saw no whales cruising. We stayed at the Marriott Pinnacle in Vancouver and were able to walk over to embarkation in about 10 minutes even with our suitcases. Do not forget your Medallion at home like I did. It was a chore to get another one aboard ship!

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

Mini suite was Spacious with plenty of storage. Liked the bath tub/shower combo. We didn’t use the tub but it certainly made for a spacious shower. The balcony was small in my opinion. But, since it was an Alaska cruise, we really only used it for viewing the scenery. The bed was very comfortable and our room steward, Frederico, was great!
