On second thought whoever approved it should be too. Believe me there were a lit of pluses on this cruise but that just started it off on the wrong foot. Forced to watch a completely agonizing movie that was supposed to be funny but truly asinine. People were actually trying to bust out but were forced to stay until the end. Give us the facts and let us go already. Safety is first but that was far from enlightening.
OK now the cruise. The good...ship was beautiful, dining room food very good, except when before lunch and after breakfast there was some time when you could not get anything? That was kind of odd, associates all very friendly, housekeeping (Marvin) excellent, entertainment good, public room plenty, good movie choices on sea days, fitness room very nice.
The bad...disembarkation for daily stops was horrendous. One line out and one line in...specialty restaurants pricing is way too high. Plan on spending $90 minimum plus cost of drinks unless you can snag a special. The food was very good to not good and for the price it should be exceptional....wine pricing on board is way too high also. We bought a five bottle classic wine package, these were $12 wines in a store, cost came to $216 with the 20% gratuities. Seeing we brought most of the wines back to our room without opening them we paid that gratuity for ? We did use our credits for that but really not worth it. Cappuccino, five bucks a pop..ouch! At least fill the cup!
Excellent cabin. Nice bathroom and large shower.
