Chosen as a family get together.

Family was awesome. The rest not so much. The elevators were impossible to use at peak use times. We watched one elderly gentleman and his wife tell the staff he couldn’t do the stairs, and they seemed unsure on how they could help. The food all tasted the same. Even the finer restaurants tasted like the buffet food. Some of the waitstaff do not have adequate English speaking skills. It was difficult to find seating in the Horizon buffet area during peak times so we sat outside. It’s cold in Alaska! Our stateroom was well used and dated, but kept well maintained twice a day. Bathroom was immaculate. Large screen tv and numerous viewing options were a plus. If you aren’t too picky and have lots of patience, this cruise may work for you. We will be more careful in choosing our next extended cruise. To end this on a positive note....Alaska is awesome.
