We took the transatlantic re-positioning April 2019 in a deck 11 inside cabin to get plenty of time to see and experience the ship.

For us, Celebrity always had very good food, genuinely friendly and professional staff and great entertainment; whilst always sailing in really clean and well maintained ships.

The Edge has definitely not disappointed. I have to take my hat off to Celebrity; they have thought so carefully and taken to a wonderful new dimension, so so many aspects of ship design; that this review won't have the space to cover them all !

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Took at four night pre-stay and enjoyed the beaches & water taxi ride along waterways- Full day pass ticket out from 10am to 9pm!

King's Wharf

Beautiful Island we took public bus to Hamilton. It was not expensive & returned by water ferry to the ship. Give plenty of time though the bus took an hour on narrow roads.

Ponta Delgada

Been before, really enjoyed the public gardens and flowers and walk at the Botanical garden.

Lisbon

Bought a six euro all day pass for the old electric trams and rode the lines end to end coupled with great walks and plenty of coffee & cake. A great day.

Bilbao

Really worth going into the City. We took the 10 euro(return) City shuttle bus from the Port which is about 30 mins from the city. Recommend the Guggenheim Museum then a walk along the riverbank to old town;[ narrow pretty streets] then catch the cheap electric tram back from the Old town tram stop(Ribberia) near the Market.[ Old Town] back to the Guggenheim and it was a short walk to the shuttle bus to the ship.
