We had never done a crossing and looked forward to seeing a part of the world we had never been to. Being early in the season, the weather wasn’t the best but we planned for this. When we hit a storm that caused very high waves the captain was very reassuring and we knew we were in good hands. Our only disappointment on the Regal is that it didn’t have the indoor pool area like other Princes ships we had been on. Don’t know why they don’t change ships.

Our cabin was a balcony with obstruction However the obstruction was just a little runabout so no problem. We loved going back to our cabin and watching a movie from their great selection. The room was maintained by a great steward. We were on the ship for 27 days so the laundry on every floor was greatly appreciated.

Everyone asked how we could stand that many sea days and we told them how much fun we had with all the activities planned every day. My husband played pickleball and was in the putting tournament while I walked on the track and went to the gym, then change and go to dance lessons with our cruise director. Then watched other games such as man vs women. Change again and go to dinner in the anytime dining room. The buffet has too many wonderful choices o by going to the dining room we outdoor have salad and main dish. The service where ever we ate was great. We enjoyed talking to the servers And finding out about their countries. We don’t drink but had the soda package so we could get a pop where ever. The shows were wonderful. So much better than on other ships. The music around the ship was great. There was only one we didn’t care for. We haven’t danced this much in a long time.
