We chose this cruise because it left from the Port of L.A. and returned to same Port plus we liked all of the ports that were visited over the 12 days. We live in L.A. so this made it very convenient. The ship itself felt very outdated. The Jacuzzis were constantly being shut down randomly for no apparent reason. This being a cold weather cruise, we looked forward to spending out time in the spas/jacuzzis. The HOT sauna was constantly broken.

The robo calls to the room from the Lotus Spa were excessive and inappropriate

We received 2 and if I hadn't complained, they might of continued calling our room.

Cabin Review

Oceanview (obstructed view)

better sized than we expected.

bed uncomfortable.

Thermostat in room needs to be fixed to allow for cooler temperatures

Sensor light on floor was annoying.. could not be overridden unless you place something near/cover it.

Port Reviews

Ketchikan

Great doing our own thing in exploring the quaint little town

Los Angeles

Embarkation was poor and confusing... especially someone traveling in a wheelchair

Juneau

We went to Mendenhall glacier on our own via public transportation. No problem. a cheaper more affordable option plus you get to see local sights on your way- A nice pleasant walk to the glacier. Several people discouraged us from doing this but if you love the outdoors and like to walk only about 1.2 miles recommend weather permitting

Skagway

enjoyed our time @ this little town. Went to the soapy smith exhibit. Interesting.

Glacier Bay

Great viewing from the ship

Victoria

We loved this clean well run city. Took public transportation to get a feel for the city. Don't miss the beauty of Beacon Hill Public Park. $5.00 US or Canadian all day ticket.
