Chose the cruise mainly for price and itinerary. Ship is beautiful inside and out. Embarkation was a breeze, self embarkation was as easy as I have ever experienced. Bar service with the Premium Package was very good. Drink/liquor selection was excellent.

Nighttime music around the ship left a lot to be desired, the dance classes in the evening at The Haven seemed to go on forever.....ate twice at the Sushi Bar without reservations in the evening....was very good. Had steak house reservations, dinner there was very good. Ate off the ship in Puerto Rico one evening...did not dine in the main dining room. Room service twice for breakfast was on point and on time.

Balcony Cabin was as expected, bathroom was small compared to the Mini Suites on the NCL Away Class Ships..I missed that. Room steward was fine, always kept plenty of ice in the ice bucket, etc...

Cabin Review

Fantastica Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

Cabin was clean, AC worked very well, no flat sheet seemed strange...just a fitted sheet and a covered comforter of some kind, seemed to hot at times..I asked the steward about it, and I don't think understood my complaint...so we lived with it. All in all, good mid ship location, very close to the mid bank of elevators, and a fairly easy walk to the two rear glass elevators. Easy walk up two flights to the smaller buffet and bars.

Port Reviews

San Juan

Had dinner at Barrachina in Old San Juan...would recommend

St. Thomas

Found our own Taxi to the Water Island Ferry, spent a few hours at Dinghy's Bar....was very nice...and fairly inexpensive.

St. Maarten

Ship made an announcement about roads being closed around noon, and all aboard was around 1 PM or so...so we just walked around the port for less than an hour...
