It's been a few weeks since our cruise. And, we loved it. I hope I have finally come down enough from the "high" to share my small perspective in a relatively objective way!

I booked our 1st cruise, online, on a whim in Feb. Chose Sapphire Princess simply because it was highlighted as "new" on Travelocity. (I was really in there to get air tickets to Ohio!) And, I found I had gotten "hooked" and "booked" before I knew it. I had not a clue what I was doing. Or, what I'd done. I found this site shortly after and must admit that between this site and the MANY calls I made to the Princess-people, this "newbie" arrived at embarkation fully prepared, with shore excursions booked, and personal choice dining selected. Thanks, Cruisecritics. So, I owe you a review, I'm thinking.

Seattle: Princess reps steered us to Marriott Waterfront...a day early as we are from New England. Thank You Princess! We NEEDED to be there a day early.....got that gist from these boards. Princess, agreed. What a neat spot to be on a warm, summer Sat night! The outdoor concert on the waterfront was in full swing and we had a great meal/drinks outside right at the Marriott. We saw the Sapphire arrive in port from our room early Sun am. We walked the docks Sunday AM, watched Norwegian Star get her provisions at the dock across the street from our hotel and went via transfer to the ship. Nearly lost the Dear Husband at that point with the security, long lines, etc.
