Chose this cruise for the ship and the itinerary; Cozumel, Belize, Roatan, Honduras, and Costa Maya. Going through customs in Port Canaveral was smooth. The customs agents were friendly, kind, professional, thorough, well organized and efficient. Port Canaveral made the whole process bearable.

Last years port Port Miami was disorganized, and chaotic to say the least. Will try to not book another Cruise Embarkation/Disembarkation out of Port Miami.

Most things were good or above average on our cruise. We had a great Room Steward, Jhonny. He exceeded our expectations in every way. We gladly gave him an extra tip in a addition to a gift bag at the beginning. Last year's Room Steward was good too, on the Carnival Vista. We loved Jhonny this year. We hope to have him again in the future. The Sapphire Dining Room hostesses, waiter / waitress staff provided great service. We had Anytime Dining where we sometimes had different waiters/waitresses, which made this more impressive. The food and service were great in the MDR. We increased our Prepaid Gratuities, because of the high level of service in the MDR and Guest Services.

Balcony

Most things went well on our cruise. We had a great room Steward, Jhonny. He exceeded our expectations in every way. We really enjoyed the towel Animals and it was nice to have fresh Ice Everyday for cold drinks. jJhonny always laid our Fun Times News Letter on our nicely made bed beside his Towel Animal Creation for the Day. Jhonny was very considerate and personable. We high fived him in the hallway. We gave him an extra tip at the end in addition to our Prepaid Gratuities as well as a gift bag at the beginning. We had a good one last year too on the Vista. We loved Jhonny this year. Hope to get him again in the future.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Fury Staff were great and patient with beginners and inexperienced swimmers and snorkelers.

Belize City

Tour was informative. We had a great tour guide who knew the Island and the Culture of Belize. She grew up there and was very intelligent and a great communicator

Belize City

Zoo was very nice. Junior Buddy story was great. Great cats. Nice environment for animals. Zoo Cafe good food - fried rice in coconut oil and fried plantains, delicious. Local beer, Belkin( Light, Original, Stout). Coke Cola made with fresh Sugar Cane from the island was great also.

Roatan

Real Deal Roatan Tours is by far the best excursion we have ever done. We met Jaime Lisandro Ruiz Alvarez, our tour guide, where the independent tour operators have to meet away from the port over the hill and down the hill. My wife and I were excited and enthusiastic, because we watched a YouTube Video of a tour he gave SharonATSea- Sharon,Jaime and Mathew and came away impressed.

Jaime(tour guide) 1st took us to the highest point on the island for pics, then he took us to see the Monkeys and Slothes @ Victor Bodden's Monkey Business. We were introduced to Kevin P.(our private tour guide in the park who had several years of experience. Kevin P. took me and my wife in the cage with the Monkeys first. The Monkeys were crawling on us to cuddle. It was an experience where they melted your heart. After several pics Kevin told us about and showed us a variety of Monkeys and then he took us to the Slothes. They climbed into our arms in the cuddle position. This also melted your heart. You really hated to leave the Monkeys and Slothes. Then Kevin P. took us in the cage with the Macaws and they crawled on our hats, head for pics. They had other animals as well. We bought shirts & hats in their store and put them on immediately afterwards. In the parking lot there was a Hut/Booth where they sliced up a Coconut to drink Coconut Water and then sliced open the coconut for the meat.

Bought 3 Coconuts, one for Jaime and two for each of us for a great price. What a great experience!!

Then Jaime took us to the Mayak Chocolate Factory where we received free chocolate samples and watched, recorded and took pictures of the processes to make Chocolate. The samples were delicious so we decided to buy one of each bar. i bought Jaime his favorite White Chocolate with Ginger & Lemon to share the experience with us. it was so delicious. we also bought a frozen piece of Pineapple covered in a Chocolate Coating. Delicious!! Unfortunately, we ate all the Chocolate since coming home.

Then Jaime called an independent professional diving and snorkeling co. a youngman,Kenny, not the same person at the monkey business, teenager, very experienced took us to a beautiful coral reef with multicolored diverse species of fish. I informed Kenny I wasn't a very confident swimmer and snorkeler. Kenny shadowed me for the whole entire hour. Some places were shallow and Kenny carefully and physically pulled me from the Shallow Coral. My wife said,"Tis is by far, hands down the best snorkeling we have ever done!" We saw several multicolored fish species and diverse multicolored Coral. Kenny tried to take us deeper so we could see a Lobster. We told him we weren't ready to take our snorkeling tubeS under water yet. So Kenny dove down with our Action Camera and took a pic of the Lobster for us.

Costa Maya

I had prebooked a tour of the Mayan Ruins. Was looking forward to it. However, We were so tired from doing the other 3 excursions and having to stay up late to use the only deck of washing machines and dryers on Deck 2 of the Carnival Breeze we didn't make it into port.
