We so enjoyed every aspect of this new, innovative EDGE! We are avid cruisers, having sailed over 25 times. Celebrity has raised the bar for all other cruise lines! Boarding was a dream, walked from curbside to our room in less that 10 minutes - thank you CELEBRITY!! Disembarkation just as seamless! We were most interested in the outside deck that moved - MAGIC CARPET. It is SO unique; we spent a lot of time at that bar! Felt like we were in the ocean! We booked rather late - most people we met had booked one to two years in advance - we felt lucky to get a cabin: Infinite Veranda, (similar to river cruise ships) Concierge Class. Cabins are so well-appointed - neat, architecturally beautiful, excellent use of space, plenty of storage. Crew amazing! So accommodating, no request too small. Dining was the best yet - 4 smaller, themed venues: Italian, Greek, Asian, Contemporary. no crowding, immediate seating. Specialty restaurants - we tried Steakhouse, Raw on 5, EDEN (a really unique 3-level venue), all wonderful. Fabulous foods, excellent service. Entertainment, oh my! The new stage, while large, felt intimate. Shows were so much fun, with extremely talented cast members! Since this was only 7 days, we had little or no time for excursions. We just enjoyed the ship, especially the 'adults only' pool area & spa. So much to do, so little time - 7 days definitely not enough time for us - we have now booked a transatlantic to enjoy more of the EDGE (& the Magic Carpet)!! And three other travel couples friends will be joining us!
