We chose the Norwegian Breakaway as it coincided with a break from my teaching job. I can't imagine how it could have been any better. Just got off the ship yesterday. Each day as we cruised I would ask my husband "Is there anything you would complain about today ?" (as we saw some bad reviews prior to departure). Each day we would just marvel that there wasn't a thing. How do they manage it with 4,000 guests on a ship!??

The staff was friendly and kind. Some people complain that they were not friendly, but I don't need them to be my best friends! They were polite and made an attempt to learn your name, some better at it than others. What more do you need from them? Our steward, Yan Yan, room 9746 was wonderful. Everyone was polite and respectful

The free style dining and the food were great. Even the "free" venues were top notch--the Manhattan Room for instance. Each night we enjoyed a 30 to 45 minute floor show while we ate. Cagney's (specialty dining) was our favorite spot thought. We enoyed Savor each morning for breakfast. I enjoyed the eggs Benedict there.

Lovely little island. Lots of shopping and restaurants. Regretted than we didn't plan for using the lovely pool there.
