This was my 2nd cruise on the Summit (first was December 2018 pre-revolution) and we were excited to see all the changes.
Embarkation was quick and easy. I’ve been on over 50 cruises and in addition to the quickest embarkation of all, this was my favorite cruise! We arrived at the port at 1 pm and we were having our first cocktails by 110 at the Sunset bar.
We appreciated the opportunity to drop our carryon luggage at our beautiful cabin immediately upon boarding We had an Oceanview cabin on deck 2 and it was really nice. Last time I was on the Summit I had a Aqua Spa stateroom and we really didn’t care for Blu and found the Spa to be to small and busy. Post revolution it is now even smaller so I just stayed away.

San Juan
We love San Juan. We walked around Forteleza Street and had a nice dinner at an outside cafe on the old blue cobblestone streets near the Cathedral
Barbados
Beautiful beach on our own to Beach. Hopped on a 2 stop snorkel boat negotiated for only $15 each and snorkeled with sea turtles and another spot with 2 sunken ships. Way too many snorkeled in the aray(including the ships excursions that cost $89 pp). So glad we only paid $15
