We left out of NY which was great since we are from upstate NY. This made our trip very easy. My only comment about leaving out of NY is that the seas are rough on the Nothern Atlantic first half of the year. First and last day were rough at sea even for those that are not prone to seasickness and have cruised before.

Getting on and off the boat was very easy. We exprieanced a small delay getting off at the end of the trip but it was to be expected with 2000ish people getting off the boat in a small window of time but I still felt it was fast and organized.

This ship was georgous and the rooms were very clean and well kept. You can hear your neighbors but I feel that is to be expected as well in close quarters like these rooms are. They had a lot of entertainment, a little bit for everyone. All crew were helpful and happy. Our stateroom steward was wonderful and was always there for whatever we needed. Kudos to the crew on this ship! We did excursions at all stops, I reccommend doing the excursions provided on the ship, they are organized and ensure you are back in time for embarkation, one less thing to think about. On our last stop to Bermuda we were there for two days so we did our own thing, there are many options at all ports to do so. We did not travel with kids but there was much to do for them on board.
