Went with extended family. Paid a lot to go at this specific time. The cruise overall, the food, the ports, nor the excursions were not impressive. My third cruise and my husband's first, and we are not likely to go on another... Especially for what we paid.

As for excursions, The hop on hop off in Miami was a total waste of money and time. The jolly Roger snorkel in roatan was worth it. The snorkel in Belize had nice staff, but nothing to see in the water. Costa Maya is a complete tourist trap. We went to playa del carmen by ferry from Cozumel to get away from yet another tacky port.

For food, I hated the main breakfast buffet. Gross, repetitive, cold, and mislabeled items. Loved Le Bistro and the noodle bar (other than smoke from the casino). Cagneys sides were good, but the steak was Applebee's level. We were rushed at the Brazilian steakhouse.

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

Under the pool deck, so moving deck chairs above our room was LOUD and people started moving them around as early as 5am, and it continued all day. Door was also directly across from where luggage loaded on and off the floor. Loud commotion day 1 and day 7. Size of the room was good for two people. Bathroom was large for a ship, with plenty of shelf space, a pleasant surprise. We also enjoyed the tiny balcony more than we thought we would.

One wish... The stewards should clean both sides of the balcony glass, so we can get the most out of all we paid to have that view.

Port Reviews

Roatan

Great staff. Lots to see in the water. Fantastic lunch

Costa Maya

Horrible. Felt trapped. Nothing to do at the beach. Totally want my money back

Cozumel

We took the ferry to playa del Carmen to get away from tacky cruise port. Enjoyed mezcal at La Perla
