5th princess cruise and like many, probably our last. Pro: good enrichment, nice crew. Cons: Princess is showing its age - from all the old ploys (endless pictures, shopping galore, cheaper and cheaper food and toiletries, etc) to the endless “clubs’. Ice cream, cokes, coffee, water, wine. There’s the absurd charge for internet (99% profit - costs the same for 300 folks as it does for 400).

Food was the worst it’s ever been. Never sat at so many tables where folks simply took one bite and left. One lunch 5 / 8 left and we stayed only because I was starved. Bread was universally panned - pardon the pun. (So hard it actually hurt.) Irritating “specialty dining”. We ate once in Crown Grill - quite good but the $29.95 / person plus $10 “fee” plus 15% add on for wine made it our last. I never saw anyone in there the entire time.

Many complaints over unhealthy practice of coughing folks ‘ nosecwipers, etc serving themselves. All those who could serve are too busy hawking binoculars, pictures, spa, videos, bingo, junk t-shirts, jewelry, etc. one lady said it was like a mid eastern bizarre.

Blankets too thick. Where’s the shampoo bottles, etc? That cheap stuff in the showers was terrible in both delivery and performance.
