We returned from our 7 day Western Caribbean vacation on the Breakaway two days ago and we haven't stopped talking about what a great time we had. From the ease of the embarkation until the smoothest debarkation we've ever experienced (21 cruises). the entire trip was fantastic!!

With our booking we received the specialty dining package, 250 free internet minutes (which worked quickly), onboard credit. excursion credit, and the ultimate beverage package for 99.00. ($400.00 plus for the week on Carnival and Royal Caribbean).

Food at all specialty restaurants was superb!! Le Bistro, Ocean Blue and Cagney's were our choices and they did not disappoint. {There is an additional 12 dollar charge at Ocean Blue because they give you a five course meal}

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

small but plenty or room for storage. Bathrooms are larger in the mini suite but other than that, they seem to be the same size as the regular balcony.

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

No excursions..just went to the village with all kinds of shops.

Harvest Caye

Harvest Caye was lovely. We went on a boat to the rain forest via the Monkey River The guides did not have a microphone so it was hard to hear them over the motor on the boat. On the water a lot on this trip and in the rain forest for about a half hour. Bring bug spray. The guides tell you have to survive in the rain forest on the different plants and animals.
