This ship was amazing and beautiful. Tastefully decorated, extremely clean and very nice cabins. But, the food was the downside. This was my first cruise with MSC. We've cruised many times on Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian, Celebrity and Princess. The food on MSC was no comparison to these other lines. It was a disppointment in the main dining room and buffet. As spactacular as this ship is, we will not cruise on this ship again because of the food. On a more positive note, the activities are awesome and there is a lot to do. We loved the Aurea package! We are not big drinkers but it was worth the money since so much more is included. This ship was an excellent value and we were very pleased with our cabin, service, quality of drinks and atmosphere. It is only the food that would keep me from cruising on this ship or MSC again.

Cabin Review

Aurea Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B3

We had a cabin for 3. My husband and I plus our 15 year old shared a cabin. We had plenty of storage for all 3 of us. It was very up to date with plenty of USB outlets Also, both US and Euro outlets. Bathroom was nice too.

Port Reviews

Genoa

None of the excursions appealed to us. Another day of just walking around on our own. Perhaps if we had done an excursion I would have enjoyed this port more.

Marseille

Walked around and had lunch. Pleasant day.
