I can’t complain much. This is my 3rd Norwegian cruise and 6 overall. I’ve been on the escape in 2017 and the sky in 2012. The escape by far was the best. The bathroom toilet on the Dawn smelt terrible the whole time. The bathroom were the toilet was, was very tight. I’m not a huge person either. I had 2 specialty dining package when I booked. Ate at los labos and cagneys steakhouse. The steakhouse was great. Los labos is an acquired taste if you love Mexican dishes. I also paid extra for modernos which was really good and worth a try as well. I had free house drinks through the casino the whole cruise. I booked a “free cruise” through the casino here in Maryland. Still had to pay taxes. This was a good beginner cruise for someone who wants to see what cruising is about. I feel like almost a veteran cruiser now except haven’t been on Royal Caribbean yet lol. 5 day cruise from Miami. Stopping at Belize I think this small island is owned by ncl. Then stopping at costa maya Mexico. I’ve been to both of these places on the escape.

Like I stated before. Love the balcony rooms. Don’t recommend cruising any other way. But the toilet smell definitely ruined some of the experience and tried to get the person to address it who was taking care of the room daily but it only helped for a day and begin to smell again. I was on deck 9 and that was perfect right in the middle and midship so only walking up 3 flights to get to the garden cafe
