I am choosing to writing to a review to help someone else who is researching this ship the same way that I did. I’m a mother of 4 and my children have only ever sailed with Disney Cruise Lines before.I have to admit I was a little worried to try Carnival based on some reviews I read. We wanted to experience Disney Parks during our spring break but couldn’t tag the Disney Cruise line into our budget. Carnival Offered a great price for this 4 day Easter Cruise that we could afford. We used Mears transportation from a Disney’s Animal kingdom lodge to Port Canaveral. For $35 a person. We used Carnivals transportation back to MCO airport. You book that through the excisions. It was the same price I believe Both were great

On board the Liberty we had 2 connecting balcony rooms on Deck 8 aft. Rooms 8378 and 8380. We had 2 adults and 4 children diving us into 3 in each cabin. The price per cabin was $1500. Excellent deal.the rooms were ready right at 1:30pm like stated upon checking in

Prior to booking I started researching the Liberty and found some negative reviews here on Cruise Critic which had me very worried. I am also a Travel Agent so I consider myself a Travel Expert with a lot of knowledge when it comes to what to expect when it comes to Cruising. If you are familiar with Disney Cruise lines you know that they are top notch. High quality. I’m here today to let families know that the Liberty is a excellent ship and I give it 5 stars because even though it is an older ship the staff has done a great job at taking care of it. I constantly saw crew members cleaning, scrubbing grout, being attentive to guests as well as also being very friendly. The service was perfect! The crew members onboard this ship work very hard. The kids club with Dr. Suess was great. The dining room staff was great. The gym was great and very clean. We work out everyday and this was important to me. So I was very happy with the gym. The spa services as well. The evening entertainment was soooo good. The shows were very well done. (I’ve seen some cheesy ones on Carnival before) Lots of family entertainment as well as separate adult entertainment. The dive in movies were perfect choices and they give you a blanket and popcorn. Cookie the cruise director is the best cruise director that I have ever met. Seriously that guy is going to go far in life. He stated he has only been a director for a year. Find the ship that he is on and you aren’t promised a good time.
